Until 2014, Købmagergade was home to the Købmagergade Post Office, formerly known as the Royal Mail House (Den Kongelige Postgård).
Although letters and parcels haven’t been collected or delivered from the property for nearly a decade, its rich history still defines the entire premises, now simply known as Postgården. Facing Købmagergade, you’ll find Arket, Carhartt WIP, and Sephora, while renowned furniture brand Fritz Hansen occupies the side along Valkendorfsgade. The other half of the block extends from the property and is dominated by large interior design stores such as Paustian.
