Using Cushman & Wakefield | RED’s webpage and news channel is subject to the below terms and conditions.

1. Introduction

In the following, you can read Cushman & Wakefield | RED (hereafter mentioned as “RED”) policy regarding processing of personal information that you submit, when you use REDs webpage and submit to our news-service (electronic mail).

When you use RED’s webpage or submit to RED’s news-services, the terms in this personal data policy are valid. In addition RED’s Cookie-policy is valid when browsing the website.

If you cannot accept the following terms and conditions, we kindly ask you not to use RED’s webpage or news-service.

RED protects your personal information, and we are aware of the need for appropriate protection and handling of the personal information, we receive from you.

2. RED’s collection of personal information

RED’s processing of personal data meets the criteria in force at any time, including safety regulation in accordance to the general data protection regulation and the associated announcements. RED regularly reviews the registered personal data and deletes the information, which no longer is relevant to process. The same is valid for the personal data that a user wishes to erase, and RED no longer have any need for processing.

When you use our webpage or submit to our news-service we presume that you give certain personal data. This is necessary for you to be able to use the webpages full functionality and to receive relevant newsletters. Therefore, RED collects and registers the personal data you submit when using the webpage and submit to our news-services.

3. Which information is collected?

When you visit our webpage, the following information about you is collected:

  3. Which ip-address you have
  4. Possibly which username you are using

The above-mentioned information is collected by Cookies, and therefore we refer to our cookie policy in force, which contains further information about the terms for collection, storing, distributing and deleting of the above-mentioned information. You can always find the cookie policy freely accessible on RED’s webpage, and you are asked to accept this cookie policy, when you enter our webpage.

For us to be able to deliver our news-service to you, RED processes information about you. We collect information about you when you sign up for an event, use the contact form, submit an application by using our website or subscribe to one of our newsletters.

4. The purpose of collecting and the period for storing data

RED collects your contact information and firm/workplace in accordance with submitting to our news-service, to be able to complete your submission and deliver relevant newsletters, marketing via electronic mail, The Marketing Practices Consolidation Act §2, litera 1, no. 15, comprising text and email to you.

The personal data is processed with the purpose of sending electronic mail to you, such as newsletters and other relevant marketing concerning office, retail, analyses and research, capital markets, occupier services, campaigns, press releases, invitation to events/seminars in regard to your chosen areas of interests.

Information about your interest is collected with the purpose of sending you relevant newsletters and targeted information. The news-services are chosen in regard to the contact information, you have emitted in regard to the above-mentioned categories and is thereby fitted to your situation.

RED only stores your personal information, as long as it is necessary to meet the above-mentioned purpose. This means that we store the above mentioned personal information, as long as you are subscribed to RED’s news-services. If you unsubscribe this/these service(s), RED will delete your personal information within 30 days.

5. Implementation of a money laundering procedure

Under the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, we are committed to register the client’s beneficial owners. Consequently, you may be asked to provide documentation proving who you are or to assist in identifying your employer’s beneficial owners.

In order to be able to carry out and complete anti-money laundering control, we need basic personal data, including name, address, place of birth and nationality. We will need to have such data confirmed, for example in the form of a scanned copy of a driver’s license, and a health insurance card. When the beneficial owners are not Danish or do not have permanent residence in Denmark, it may be necessary to collect additional data. The sources for the collection of the data will always be the persons in question.


We will process such personal data based on Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation on compliance with legal obligations. The legal obligation appears from the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. Under special circumstances, sensitive personal data may also be processed. Such processing will be carried out based on Article 9(2)(g).

If a public authority, for example the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority or the State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime, take an interest in a certain business relationship, we are, under the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, obliged to disclose the data to the authorities in question.

As laid down in the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, we will not keep your data for more than five years after the expiry of the business relationship. 

We are obliged to ensure that the data we collect, and which are still relevant for the business relationship, are updated on a regular basis, which we do check with intervals of 12 months.

6. Distribution of your personal data

In connection with your registration to RED’s news-services, you have given consent to RED passing on your personal data according to RED’s group Cushman & Wakefield. You can find further information about the group on www.cushmanwakefield.com. Your personal information will be distributed to the RED-group, as they are a part of the marketing.

Your personal information is only passed on to third parties in connection with the marketing of relevant properties and leases on the web and social media, including Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

According to the deletion and distribution of personal data, you submit when using our webpage, we refer to our cookie policy.

7. Use of data processing units

The above mentioned personal data is handed over to the data processing units, who are affiliated with RED. The data processors only process personal data when instructed by RED and therefore only for the specific purposes mentioned in this policy. The data processors are subjected to the same obligation of protection personal data as RED itself.

8. Safety around your personal information

RED process all personal information in confidentiality, and we have carried out a series of technical and organizational security precautions with the purpose of protecting personal data against accidental or illegal determination, forfeiture or reduction, and against the information reaching unauthorized persons, abuse or otherwise processed contrary to the personal data regulations.

A back-up is taken daily of all our electronic data, and we have secured the data by installing antivirus software and firewalls.

9. The right to insight in your personal data, the opportunity to delete and complaint access

You are reserved the right to be informed about what personal data RED processes about you and what the reason for this is, as well as you have the right to receive your personal data on a readable media. Furthermore, you have the right to correct incorrect or misleading personal data, which we have registered about you. You have the right to object against the processing of your personal data stored. You can contact RED by writing us at the following email-address: persondata@cw-red.dk. In addition, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency about the processing of personal data.

In accordance with the consent(s) you have given RED in connection with your subscription to our news-service, you are always reserved the right to retract this/these by mail or by the unsubscribe link in the newsletters. The retraction will take effect for RED and RED-group.
