In 1895 the former department store, Messen, opened in the premises on Købmagergade 42, which at the time were built for the purpose. The building was one of the architect’s monumental works along with the erection of Tivoli’s iconic main entrance and Kongens Nytorv 26, which today is home of Chanel.
The building is divided into two units, where the neighbour lease is rented out. This lease comprises of 555 m² in total, which covers two floors: ground floor and basement.
